ARWC Ecuador – Vulcano crater

Today we visited the Vulcano crater in Quilotoa. We ran the track on the ridge that goes around the lagun. The track starts at 3900 meters altitude and goes up and down from 3600 meters up to 4200 meters. The views were stunning! A short film clip below and a few photos from the trip. Tomorrow we will do a trip to Cotopaxi, Ecuador’s highest active vulcano. To reach the top of Cotopaxi (5897 meters), you’ll need ice axe and crampons, so we won’t go that high.

Gee! Stunning views! Hope that you all are reaching a fairly well condition, when thinking about the height differences from your arrival.
